When I first met Alison, we were totally broke. We used to go through skips and find clothes, that’s still kind of her look. She customised stuff herself and managed to put together all these weird things that no one else could pull off: destroyed jeans with a bit of old raggedy fur and voodoo necklaces. A real mishmash.
